What Body Visualizer Is

Body Visualizer is an independent, browser-based project for exploring estimated body shape and understanding common body-measurement calculations. Its tools include a private 3D preview, a body-shape calculator, and educational calculators for child height, FFMI, VO₂ max, and the current U.S. Army waist-to-height standard.

The core visualizer works from measurements entered by the user. It does not require a photo and is not intended to identify a person or reproduce exact anatomy.

Who Creates and Reviews Content

Maya Chen writes and reviews Body Visualizer guides and calculator explanations. Her editorial focus is body measurements, data visualization, responsible fitness tracking, privacy, and explaining what an estimate can and cannot establish.

Maya is presented as an editorial author, not as a physician, dietitian, exercise-testing clinician, or military official. Medical and safety questions should be taken to an appropriately qualified professional.

Editorial Approach

Calculator pages show their formulas, assumptions, practical limitations, review dates, and source material. Health-adjacent language is kept informational and avoids turning a geometric label or browser estimate into a diagnosis.

When a method comes from research or official guidance, the page links to that source. Corrections and source updates can be reported through the contact page.

What the Tools Cannot Do

The site cannot directly measure body composition, posture, bone structure, medical risk, cardiorespiratory fitness, growth disorders, or military eligibility. Results depend on the measurements and method selected and should be treated as estimates.

Independence

Body Visualizer is not affiliated with the World Health Organization, the U.S. Army, the publishers of cited studies, or the organizations linked as references. Citations document methodology; they do not imply endorsement.
